Curran at Renegade Worldwide

One Strategic Move. A Complete Circular Platform.

The Setup

Renegade makes polypropylene-based coated fabrics that outperform legacy vinyl — free of polyvinyl chloride, phthalates, and plasticizers; lighter at equal performance; price-competitive with incumbents; and able to be recycled into high-quality polypropylene resin. Adoption spans five-plus market segments. But a better fabric alone can’t finish the job: finished products fail circularity because the components around the fabric — zippers, thread, webbing, buckles — are mixed materials that break the recycling stream.

The Strategic Move: Renegade Worldwide

In 2026, Renegade launched Renegade Worldwide, a lean South Korea–based entity positioned at the center of the global technical-textile supply chain. It is not a factory and not a pivot — it is the mechanism that converts Renegade’s material advantage into a complete, defensible platform.

What Renegade Worldwide Accelerates

  • The full circular product. Assembles the ecosystem of polypropylene-compatible consumables — zippers, thread, buckles, webbing — so customers can build finished goods in one compatible material family, making the entire product able to be recycled. This is the offering no fabric-only supplier can match.
  • Speed to market. Operating inside the Asian supply chain means faster material qualification and quicker product iterations, accelerating adoption across every vertical Renegade is already winning.
  • New revenue, cleaner economics. Serves customers across their supply chains and unlocks markets that were previously impractical.

Strategic, Not a Distraction

Renegade Worldwide required no heavy capital outlay and no shift in focus — it is a supply-chain and market-access structure built on relationships Renegade already held. It complements the company’s current business strategy focused on North and South America, but Renegade Worldwide extends global reach and ecosystem control. One strategy, both sides of the Pacific.

Why It Matters

Renegade Worldwide widens the addressable market, deepens the moat from a product to a platform, de-risks the supply chain by putting Renegade inside it, and positions the company to capture demand that is arriving fast: 30+ major retail chains (over $650B in combined annual sales) have committed to eliminating or reducing PFAS, regulators are tightening restrictions on legacy chemistries, and brands are making binding circularity commitments. As Renegade enters its next phase of growth, this is a company controlling its own destiny — technology, ecosystem, and supply chain.

The Next Phase of Growth Is Global

With Renegade Worldwide, Renegade is expanding its market access, strengthening its position within the global supply chain, and creating new opportunities for growth across markets.
