Built differently from the cheap stuff
The 8′ x 6′ tarp is made from Renegade’s proprietary polypropylene-based fabrics. It’s lightweight, flexible, fully waterproof, and designed to stand up to repeated use, UV exposure and everyday wear.
It is also made without intentionally added PFAS, PVC, BPA, lead or phthalates, giving you tough protection without the nasty stuff found in many traditional tarp materials. The result is a tarp built for a longer useful life, fewer replacements, and less throwaway waste.
Reinforced grommets that won’t rust
Eight reinforced, non-metal grommets give you multiple points for securing, hanging, or tying down the tarp. There is one at each corner and one near the middle of each side.
The grommets are made using recycled Renegade material and designed with a wider footprint to help distribute force around the attachment point. No metal also means no rust or sharp edges rubbing against your gear or equipment.
Designed with its next life in mind
We think a better tarp should still have a plan for what happens when you are finally done with it. When your tarp reaches the end of its useful life, send it back through Renegade’s tarp recycling program. Returned tarps can be recycled through facilities that accept the applicable polypropylene material, helping keep valuable plastic resources in circulation.

Honestly, this is a heck of a tarp. Feels very cool and has a stand out bright green color. Clearly well made with quality grommets, etc. I’ve been using it for household tasks and lawn cleanup and love it so far. The sustainability advantages are very cool as well. Great product great company
These are an impressive reimagining of the basic blue tarp. Really happy with the durability, especially compared to others. We’ve used these so far as a sun/rain cover, and to cover trailer loads of yard debris and trash which can be rough on tarps. The Renegades have held up surprisingly great through all of these uses, and the material is even easier to work with- smooth to handle and not crinkly and finicky. Very happy with our purchase and will be getting more!
Great quality and built to handle the weather. I’ve used it to cover our riding lawn mower. Just secured with a few bungee cords and it fits perfectly. After a full year, it’s still holding up! It seems very durable, unlike other tarps that have fell apart after a few storms.
I actually use these tarps under my chicken roosts to collect their droppings, and they do the job! These tarps hold up to me scrapping & washing chicken poop off every week. And I feel good that my chickens aren’t exposed to any bad chemicals! Thanks for making a fantastic product!!
The tarp is covering our sandbox. It is sturdy and keeps leaves and rain out of the sand. It is hefty which makes it easier to hang to dry.
