At 3′ x 3′, this is the smallest tarp Renegade makes. The Mini Tarp is made from Renegade’s proprietary polypropylene-based fabrics, which are free of intentionally-added PFAS, PVC, phthalates, BPA and all the other nasty things usually found in textile and plastic products. Our beefy grommets are even made out of recycled fabric from our factory.

What can I use a 3' × 3' tarp for?
The Mini Tarp works well for vehicle trunks, muddy shoes, gardening, tools, sports gear, climbing ropes, wet seats, emergency kits and other small jobs that do not require a full-size tarp.
How many grommets does it have?
The Mini Tarp has four reinforced, rust-free grommets, with one positioned near each corner. (See diagram in the product images)
Is the Mini Tarp waterproof?
Yes. Renegade tarps are fully waterproof. The coated polypropylene-based fabric blocks rain, snow and moisture to help keep your items dry without the need for water-repellent sprays. Unlike canvas tarps, which can absorb water and soak through during prolonged exposure, Renegade’s coated material does not absorb moisture.
Why does my tarp develop dark spots when it gets wet?
If the tarp’s surface coating becomes worn, moisture may temporarily darken the material. This is typically cosmetic and should not affect the tarp’s waterproof performance.
Renegade tarps are made from mildew-resistant materials and are not treated with moisture-wicking chemicals. Allow the tarp to dry completely before folding or returning it to its storage bag.
How should I clean it?
Rinse the tarp with mild soap and water to remove dirt, sap or pollen. Use a soft cloth or other gentle cleaning tool, and avoid abrasive brushes or harsh detergents that could damage the coating. Let the tarp dry completely before folding or storing it.
Can the Mini Tarp be recycled?
The tarp is made from polypropylene-based materials and can be recycled through Renegade’s take-back program or facilities that accept the applicable polypropylene material. It should not be placed in curbside recycling unless your local program specifically confirms that it accepts the product.
What size tarp should I choose?

Great idea, great tarp. Put one in every car.
This is the best tarp I ever bought!
I keep the black 3′ x 3′ mini tarp in my car, and it folds up small enough that it’s easy to stash without taking up much room. It came in especially handy after a very rainy golf day when we had muddy shoes and wet jackets. I was able to use it to help keep the car cleaner and keep the mess contained. It’s one of those simple things I’m glad I had with me.
I picked up three of these for my family’s vehicles and we used two of them the day they arrived for moving mulch and gravel for the garden. They are thick, sturdy and tough. Very happy I found this company! Thanks for making such a solid product! Easy purchase and fast delivery, too.
Got one of these to use around the yard for multiple activities. Great for covering things in the PNW rain, we also use it for putting down soil and wood chips for yard work to contain the mess. Really durable and great product.
